Researching Artificial Intelligence Systems
My degree embodies positive and innovative future change, not only in the fashion industry but in the world. With my peers, we explored and researched AI systems; their power and limitations and the consequences and benefits when using and trusting them. AI seems to be feared by most, however we revealed the lack of intelligence they truly posses through a proposed research question.
Using our group’s research question, we chose to explore how manipulative AI systems could be and whether humans could manipulate them, seeing whether they had the intelligence to become their own being, and replicate human behaviour. We designed three experiments and tests to attempt to answer our research question. In the decks below we have documented the tests as we carried them out, creating conclusions and myth-busting the fearmongering behind Artifical Intellingence.
